I made my process as easy as possible by following a few simple steps...
      - weigh your beans... find out your basket size, and stick to it... (I can't eye ball the amount of grind going into a PF consistently... so that process doesnt work for me)
      - get one of those tamper that has a calibrated click to it, like the Espro I use that clicks at consistent pressure... 15KG pressure is not much at all if you test it using a weighing machine
      - adjust your grinder finer or courser only to get the desired result...

However, now you have another variable which is how much force you pull on the lever, which I don't know how you can keep it consistent... that's something I can't tell by watching videos...

or better yet... swallow the man pride and ask the mrs to show you if she knows how to do it

the lever doesnt matter for the elektra, its spring loaded so its the same pressure every time !

Yea it is a nice machine. Its got some weird dent on the front of it which im trying to decide whether or not its worth taking back to get them to look at. its like a 1cm "slice" into the metal.
Best to speak to JetBlack, they would like to know and may be able to assist ...

After two trips to jet black, ill be getting the group head replaced on site by elektra distributor in three weeks. They will come on site to replace which is good. Apparently they are only down the road. Since its only cosmetic I can at least use it till then.
