I'd strongly recommend that this would be essential for all later generation equipment, used in home or commercial situations, given the preponderance of electronics and/or automation...

Are bottomless/naked portafilter available for both of these rocket models? Thanks.

Yes- of course! It's an e-61 machine, so any e-61 naked will fit...Naked Portafilter | Talk Coffee

I like the front-on look of the machine, but have to admit, I'm not too keen on the perforated side panels or the plastic cup rail.

Agree, I'd probably swap out the side panels for chrome or something. Chris, is the plastic rail removable/swapable?

Stainless cupguard... We're working on that as a Talk Coffee pimp option...

Side panels- photos don't do them justice, but as mentioned above, a swap to anything you choose is simple...

Glass infill panels would look pretty awesome I reckon...

                    Coloured/frosted would work...

For mine, unless the insides are a work of art, better to hide 'em..

Londinium, GS3 etc all fugly and the only glass I'd be using would need to be opaque/translucent....

                        Indeed...

I can just imagine some highly polished Black Marble peeking out through those panels...

It appears that the Apartamento uses a Mater domestic pressurestat. This is according to Rocket Appartamento | Talk Coffee which would be very accurate.

                              Yes- confirming Mater pressurestat.

As per the link back in 2013. Is it still true that expobar is the only domestic one that seems reliable?
