At home now and remembered I had a broken one in the shed; you are correct, 13mm approx across the widest part of the threads. Thank you.

It will almost without a doubt me 1/4", which has a diameter of about 12mm for a male thread. However, if it's wrong, send it back and get the right one. Often there are clearance issues when using thread adaptors and a pressurestat has live terminals, plus small size BSP fittings are pretty hard to find. The Tubefit range that Masters usually stock is reasonable but pricey, bunnings generally have nothing below 3/8"

Yea, the 1/8" pressurestat is pretty rare, most machines use a 1/4".

If it turns out to be wrong, all you need is a cheap brass adapter for a dollar or so from Bunnings.

Thanks, saw they had both and didn't want to order the wrong one.

Does anyone know whether the thread on the ma-ter pressurestat in the La Scala Butterfly is 1/4 in or 1/8 in?

    Cheers,
