I brought home my lovely new Expobar Leva two days ago, after 7 years with a Sunbeam 6910.
No real reason other than upgraditis :-)
I have always been able to make excellent micro foam with the 6910, and my wife's morning cappucino always has a dense layer of great foam on it.
However, the Expobar has me beat!
I am pulling great shots (despite the manual being rubbish - does anyone have a link to a better one?), but texturing is driving me crazy.
I do what I used to do with the 6910, and I get big bubbles, and anything else is worse.
Same milk, same jug, same temperature.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
I calculated that I have done a little over 5,000 cappucinos (plus lots more espressos) with the 6910, so am really peeved.
