      Quick update for those of you watching at home.

      Freight looked too messy and expensive in the end and the labour cost alone ran into the hundreds. Fortunately, the company that stuffed up here did manage to source and install a new front panel, though it did take a few months. It's almost unheard of here in Sri Lanka so I think I got lucky.

      Huge thanks to Chris for helping me source a new front panel though fortunately it wasn't needed in the end.

        Glad it's been resolved for you...

        Im curious to know/see what they actually did given that the front panel of the Giove is integral to the chassis and is not replaceable as such? Pics?

          Sorry, I keep forgetting to check CS now that I have a functioning and aesthetically pleasing coffee machine once more.

          From my understanding they replaced part #6 from the diagram below?
