  • Astoria CK Restoration (Warning a lot of photos)

    Regards from Argentina!

I read this forum a long time ago and I really enjoy the different restorations that I see so thanks to you, I encourage you to buy my first espresso machine to restore, a very damaged Astoria CK ... After a lot of work and time I'm already enjoying some good mugs of coffee.

I want to share with you my experience, which without interest, you have given me.

I apologize for my English which is not very good (And even less with an online translator: roll: hahaha).

            PAINT JOB

I had to replace the pump because if it worked, there was no water

Astoria CK coffee machine worked perfectly until a few days ago, at this moment I have the following situation and I can not find the solution, maybe you can help me. I turn on the espresso machine normally, the boiler starts to rise and when it reaches the right, the red light on the front will turn on and I will not use it, from that moment the boiler will completely cool and return to take temperature until it reaches where it corresponds and turns on the Red light again and so repeat the cycle.

Thank you very much and greetings from Argentina !.

You can see them because they're hosted in your/Home-Barista's google account. The rest of us however can not log into that account and as such do not see them.

Excellent restoration work there ckanu. You should be proud of the finished job.

How did the first shot taste?

                              Thanks!

Really creamy and strong ... I needed to regulate the grinding
