Hi Moby. Yea well aware of that. Bought my GS3 like a month before the new version was announced I am waiting for the new parts to be available but was just wondering if someone in Brisbane would do it then. Cheers

Firstly, apologies that I am not answering your actual question.

However, you may be aware that a new version of the GS3 MP was released in December which includes a better version (as I understand it) of the features available through applying the Strada mod. In particular it allows pressure manipulation with the pump engaged. Search for ‘introducing-the-new-gs3-mp’ and you’ll find the details.

When this was released La Marzocco indicated that they would be making an upgrade kit available for existing GS3 MP owners, but I haven’t seen any further information on that so far.

It would be worth finding out about it though if you are seriously considering adding that functionality as it will be a much better solution once available.

My butterfly is running like new, they even gave it a quick polish so it's nice and shiny.
Excellent. It's good when a service goes to plan.

I've been there before and get the impression it is an efficient business, from the sales showroom to the repair workshop out the back.

Beat me to it Mal. :-)

I double checked the sponsors list again after I posted. Barazi was the name I was thinking of. But yeah no more a sponsor.

Coffee Machine Specialist repairs at the Gabba. Edit: I believe it's the repair wing of Bezzera factory.

Got my brother's Isomac repaired there for him. Reasonable rates. Good communication.

Dibella Coffee (site sponsors) in Bowen Hills/Albion just north of the city may also still organise repairs.

I used Espresso Breakdown at Cleveland on the recommendation of 2muchcoffeeman and found them helpful and informative. There is another company at Windsor but I can't comment of their work as I have never used them. Just google it and several come up

Looks like the Butterfly might need a trip to the repair shop. Where do people recommend? Northside is better, but if it's chalk & cheese I can travel.

    Cheers,
