Hi all,
I've just acquired a second hand Vibiemme Domobar Junior and while adjusting the OPV, noticed it has a Mater pressurestat.
i've read of people replacing them with a Jaeger or Sirai pressurestat, and was wondering why? Is it because the micro switch fails, or is the hysteresis/deadband too wide on this pressurestat?
I'm curious because the micro switch is inexpensive and easily replaced, and different switches (same size) may have different hysteresis/ switching characteristics, in which case I may be able to tighten the pressure/temperature range within which it operates.
i should state that I am a maintenance electrician by trade, so safely playing with appliances is within my skill set.
Regards,
Matt.
