Hi folks.
I was recently given an Expobar Office Control in unknown condition. It is a 2004 model with the touchpad buttons.
I am having trouble establishing the problem.
So, the pump turns on but nothing happens. There is no flow through the group- zip, zilch nada. I tried to force water to the pump and got nowhere, and removing the pump from the outlet it moves water so unlikely the pump. This leads me to consider the cold water fill valve. I disconnected the pump and the 3 way valve at the group and listened for the valve clicking over and heard nothing. I have since removed the valve and found that the valve moves freely but thought the continuity of the coil (Parker) a little high at about 1500ohms. I replaced it with a whole new valve and coil assembly today.
The problem persists so I am pretty sure that the coil is not energising. I don't have a multimeter for mains/high energy.
Am I missing anything before I start tearing out and looking for a new electronic brain? Is there a specific relay that energises the coil?
Thanks,
