  • Rocket Giotto Tipo/Type V

What are all the differences between the V3 PID and the new Tipo V?

So far I've seen mention of:

    - height adjustable stainless steel feet.
    - stainless steel cup surround which was previously optional.
    - Steam and hot water valves take cues from the R58/R60 models with rocket branded valve handles.
    - refined body design.

    Anyone know of anything else?

Those were the only differences I could see and hence decided to get the V3.

      Hey MavCN,

As the importers we thought we'd chime in to confirm the research you've done on the new Rocket Giotto Tipo V. As per your list above, the changes to the Giotto Tipo V have been aesthetic.
A height adjustable version of the Tulip Feet is optional for the Giotto Tipo V but comes standard for the Giotto R.

The R58/R60 style steam/hot water handles are now across the whole Rocket range, however, the dual boiler models being the R58/R60V have a different valve

Also, previously, the Giotto Evoluzione V2 did not come with PID adjustment either. The new Giotto R and the Mozzafiatto V and R all come standard now with PID adjustment which is located behind the drip tray.

The Giotto PID V3 was an excellent machine we were very proud of. We are glad the Giotto range is continuing on and we're loving the new look design!
