Got the multimeter out yesterday, thermal fuse is fine... unfortunately the heat element showed an open circuit... ordered a new element and intake filter... the project continues

    Thank you team.

Turns out it was a clogged water intake filter. I tried a descale to see if would fix the "OPV" but while doing so I noticed the pump change note when I jiggled the intake hose. I removed the filter and everything returned to normal. Unfortunately whilst displacing the descaling solution and still having a blocked water intake I think I might have blown the thermal fuse... now all the lights come on and the pump functions freely but the boiler doesn't heat up.. I hope it's not the heat element.

    back to the drawing board.

Thank you timmy. But what is opv?

Possibly a sticky opv? Depending on the water flow path, too much water is being sent back to the reservoir when filling, and to low pressure when pouring.

    Help with my Isomac Mondiale

    Hi Team,

I'm wondering if anyone might know what is going on with my machine.

Over the last couple of weeks when ever I have turned it on from cold the pump takes a long time to refill the boiler.

More recently I' have noticed that when drawing a shot it only gets up to about 6 bar and the shot take longer than usual.

Is it the pump? Everything appears to be engaging and switching correctly.
Working...
