Maybe checkout Crema Coffe Garage in Stafford(Brisbane)for the Barista and Mechanika Slim and also talk to them about your issues with the VBM Junior which they also sell. I found the Junior to be a very well finished and built machine, very well set out internally with a lot of quality parts used when I was looking for a HX machine recently.

You can go over to Coffee Machine Solutions at Windsor (Brisbane) which is not far from the Gabba I bought my ECM Mechanika at great prices and lots on display.
They have a website which you can browse through at all of the machines.

Whatever you want to buy will always be that bit more expensive than you want to pay. Sometimes you just have to make an exception, whether this be by patience and saving for a bit longer. Just get the coffee machine you really desire, then you won't have any regrets when you look back.

Very true words Erimus. One reason I'm glad I don't crave a high end dual boiler.

I reckon you need to stretch matey because you will probably have this in your kitchen for many years so get the one you want. And once you go profi you won’t go backi!
