I absolutely cannot wait for this to hit the shelves...I really hope it comes to Canada. There is literally little to no information here in Canada about Lelit products.

Still has a 24 min heat-up time, whereas the Profitec Pro 300 takes only 5 mins.

I hope no one uses their Profitec 300 five minutes after turning it on. They’ll be making pretty awful coffee if they do.

Wondered how they do it, must have a mini blast furnace in there.

If it’s a DB and they do a rinsing flush with an PF on, I don’t see why it would yield a bad coffee..with a really light roast bean maybe.

All depends on the mass of hardware downstream from the boiler/HX...

It’s also not an e61 so not really a good comparison. It will take longer on the e61 to heat up but once hot, you can pull espresso’s at a much more stable brew temp. So different strokes for different folks

It will be about the same standard of coffee as waiting 24 mins for the Lelit.
So lets see, we are going to wait 5 mins + 2 mins (say) vs waiting 24 mins + 2 mins (say).
Gee, that's a real tough choice.

Yep, easy choice - definitely 24+2 for me, regardless of the machine.
