Superautos are a reasonable choice if the users want a quick fix, dont know or care about how to make coffee and dont care too much if the qualitys not great. But at that budget you could get a good entry level heat exchanger machine such as the Expobar Office and a reasonable grinder such as the Rancilio Rocky and get better much results than a superauto will do.
Just a thought, depends on your situation. We dont tend to like superautos here on CS because, well, were Coffee Snobs! ;D So quality is always paramount for us, and thats where superautos fall down. But recognising your requirements may not be the same, I wouldnt write off a superauto for your situation. Maybe have a word with Gilkatho (one of our site sponsors right over there <---------) as they deal with superautos.
hi
the saeco has improved over the years, they have sorted out the boiler problems.
many probs were related to the boiler leaking, the customer noticing water leaks and putting of repairs till later and steam damaging the electronics.
both the Jura and saeco are good machines, depends more on needs as to which one, both come with single and double thermoblocks, new saecos easier to froth milk with jug, Jura leans toward the autofrother.
saeco has a removable group for cleaning, Jura group is fixed so needs cleaning tablet to clean group unit.
the delonghi and sunbeam continue to have many problems.
also depends where you are located as to access to service agents

I work for a government office that is in need of a new coffee machine. We last had a domestic Delonghi Magnifica which made a reasonable coffee, was easy for staff to use and clean. It broke down a couple of times and we had it repaired but it did last for about 2 years before it finally died and now needs replacing.
Im thinking about trying a new brand of machine this time around, that is a bit more reliable and can do a better cappucinno. Id like to get a commercial machine but the budget of $2000 wont allow it (and no begging by me has helped to increase the budget allocation). Ive heard the Seacos arent much chop for reliability, but that the Jura range are quite good. Sometimes all the research in the world can just end up confusing you more than helping you decide!
Has anyone any feedback on the above machines or suggestions on the best value machine for about $2K? Ill need to get a new machine soon before the staff start to riot. Thanks for your help...:-X
