Not sure really but could be more concentrated.
I've only ever used the commercial one and diluted as per instructions on the label.

I was looking at clean machine triple action. Is there much difference between the standard domestic or commercial?

Comes down to the type of descaler you use and whether you're happy to disassemble as much of the hydraulic circuits as you can beforehand. Can highly recommend the Triple Action Descaler which a lot of our Site Sponsors probably stock.

I was looking at doing it myself as it seems pretty straight forward. My only concern is that by doing it if any scale then blocks lines etc

Id never worked on a machine before i discovered this website, and from the information and encouragement here i managed to completely strip and descale a commercial machine and rewire the touch pads and flow sensors. This website is a great community full of help and encouragement. BUT, it all depends on what you are looking to do. Descaling is easy, but your first attempt may take longer than usual while you learn the technique and it may also result in other "issues" becoming apparent during the work - some may be caused by you not knowing what you're doing.
So if all you want to do is fire the machine up and make coffee then maybe its best to get it descaled and serviced professionally. However if you are not sweating on that first cup and you want a deeper understanding of how your machine works then Id recommend doing it yourself. A BZ99 is a pretty simple machine, with the only thing slightly out of the ordinary being the vertical orientated boiler. One you've done a full strip and descale you will be confident using the machine and sorting out any problems that arise down the track.

I've taken my BZ99s to a reputable service/repair company as I am not confident in my electrical/plumbing skills to do the job myself.

If you are however confident (or more so competent) there are instructions here you may find handy: https://coffeesnobs.com.au/forum/equ...chine-properly

Just Googled your machine, it’s not a E61 so sorry my guidance is null and void.....

Welcome Shamus. If this is a E61 machine I would suggest remove the mushroom and check it for scale. If non put it back in and make coffee, scaled up there is a sticky on how to descale an E61 machine somewhere on this forum. If you remove the mushroom and are unable to decide if a descale is needed post some images and someone will help you there.....

New to the forum. I've just purchased a Bezerra bz99 second hand. It's in pretty good condition, I don't know when it was last descaled. I called up a bezzera dealer with a good rep and asked some questions. They recommended not descaling it myself. I thought I'd ask this forum what their opinion and advise would be.
