Sounds like it's lost control of the element that heats the steam. Not sure if this machine is a boiler or thermoblock for its steaming power.
Was it the thermal fuse on the steam element that blew?
So maybe a thermocouple is dislodged, or a triac on the board is blown.

Breville Oracle - Steam coming out of the drip tray

    Hi everyone,

I have a little problem I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

My Breville Oracle poped a fuse the other day but I have fixed that up. There was no obvious reason for it that I could see after taking a few covers off, but now the steam is coming out at far higher pressure and what seems to be the relief vent is opening and sending the excess pressure into the drip tray. Would anyone know what might be going on at all?

Besides that everything else seems normal.

    Cheers,
    K
