  • VBM water issue

    Hi There,
I'm after some ideas what could be the issue
I have a 2012 VBM Domobar Super with a factory fitted rotary pump.
When i turn on the lever, the pump engages, but sometimes the normal amount of water comes out, sometimes about half, sometimes almost none.
So, I'm assuming it is a pump issue....

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance

Beenz would you measure / time the flow.
200 -240g in 30 sec is an avge baseline.

Check at the mushroom and gicleur as to their state / condition.

If your comfortable / competent with AC240 remove the side panels and observe the water lines for obv signs of scale buildup.
What area of Aust are you?
Std water is described as ( hard etc.) ?

      Thanks for the questions.
I'll pull apart the mushroom and have a look.
The machine looks to have no obvious issues. Photos attached.

It's been working fine since I posted.
The normal amount of water is coming thru. No tubes where it is less.

I live in Sydney, just moved and had it serviced early last year.

i dont think it is pump issue. Did you pull the lever fully up? When there is no water comes out, does the pump running? I think could be your microswitch .

Thanks, It seems to have settled down. Working fine.

So probably not a pump issue?
