I've started noticing an odd issue with my VBM Domobar Junior, it's run off a timer and starts up at 06:30 to pre-heat.
When I get to it in the morning (about 08:00), the boiler pressure gauge shows the usual 1.4bar of pressure but the group isn't up to temperature (not cold, but also not as hot as it should be). Opening the steam valve causes the boiler pressure to immediately drop (and the pstat to kick back on), after it comes up to temp from there it's fine for the rest of the day.
Only explanation I can think of is a "sticky" anti-vac that's not properly releasing when the machine turns off, and when the controller runs the pump at startup it's pressurising the boiler which "fools" the pstat into turning the element off prematurely.
Wondering if the brains trust might have some insight here?
Thanks,
-J
