I have seen some rebuild threads where people who know what they are doing have disassembled and rebuilt some of these old switches. It might be worth investigating as a new switch is going to be quite costly. Might be worth looking around for one from another old machine - lots of commercial machines have the two stage rotary switch like this. But i guess it is switching 240V so you want to be confident that all is sound with it.

  • Carimali Uno - Help needed - Looking for rotary selector switch!

Hi all, I'm looking for a rotary selector switch for my vintage Carimali uno. I must have an older version because most parts diagrams show push button controls whereas mine is a rotary switch (see pic). The switch is working just barely... meaning it turns on ok but takes king kong strength to rotate it off. Any info on where I can find one is greatly appreciated.
