If you want to stick with the Izzo family there are a couple of options.
The Vivi has had a few upgrades since your version and now has a PID as well as a choice of taps or toggles for steam and hot water.
Picture below of the current version.
There is a big brother version now with the Alex PID or the top model Alex Duetto dual boiler that has a heap of goodies including IMS shower screen and baskets and optional flow control.

Optional Flow Controls are available, but I would agree with Tom, there are a lot of other variables to get spot on before adding.
Feel free to call or DM if we can help

Personally, I found the main benefits of FC those related to preinfusion. Beyond that it was more around bringing out some nuance. Hard to do manually and consistently with the e61 type control.Originally posted by tompoland View PostFlow control is fun to play with for sure. IMHO not especially important in the mix of very important things such as bean quality, roast, puck prep etc.
PID is an asset if you fussy (me) and want to get best out of dark vs light roasts.
Interested to hear if more experienced CSers have additional thoughts.
Agree with everything else.
PID, beans, puck prep, tasting and recipe tuning.

If you like your Izzo Vivi, you could stay with the same brand and look at an Alex Duetto, it's PID a controlled dual boiler machine.
I've awned one for almost 12 years without any issues.

What to chose ?
Hi all,
Enjoying my Izzo Vivi (PID) for about 6 years now and thinking about up upgrading or changing to a newer machine.
Should I go for PID or HX ?
Would I see a difference if I get a HX ?
Any other options?
Also, I have to admit that I have been out of the loop for a while and amazed to see these new machines are now fitted with flow-control devices etc.
Aren't more variables complicate the way of making a good shot?
Cheers
