  • Unic Diva question.

Acquired this wonderful machine from Bright and despite needing another procom pump , this is just a magnificent machine, press button brew/ steam!
I’m wanting information about this model, I’m sure someone knows?
what is the reason for the two screws in the group head?
    Thanks in anticipation,

Hi mulquemi that's one I have not heard of. Can you help me identify the machine, either with a photo or a web link? Very interested to learn more, thanks.

Blatant plug but I just parts stripped a two group Promac with a working rotary pump. Not a Pro Con but it is a Fluid O Tech send me a PM if this might help get your machine going.

Also the pump may not even need replacement these pumps often seize with scale if left with water for long periods, have you tried to descale or turn it by using a flat head screwdriver? This can often dislodge scale and free up the vanes of the pump.

Haven't worked on any Unic machines but seen a couple single groups up for sale second hand.

Apologies for my non proofread post, auto selected Unix, I meant Unic the French manufacturer.

Hi Mick, These came standard with a special group head and group handle that was designed for ESE pods. The group head for a standard portafilter that takes ground coffee was available as an optional kit. Hence the slightly unusual looking group head you have there with the plastic structure above it. The two screws are most likely related to this, but I can’t say for sure sorry.
