  • Bezzera Gea trade in program

    Hi,

I'm hoping someone on this forum might be able to assist with a question I have regarding the Bezzera Gea, or Bezzera machines in general.

I bought my machine in 2010 from a place here in Adelaide and I vaguely recall the salesman, as part of his pitch, was that Bezzera's have some trade-in/up program that they will buy the machine back at about 50% of purchase price if you buy a new machine. I looked over my receipts but can't see it printed on there.

Is anyone else aware of this program? or was it all BS? It's getting time for an upgrade.

Cheers for the help in advance.

    Phil

Haven't heard any of the places in Adelaide offering such a service, but might help if we knew the retailer.

Contact Barazi in Brisbane, the Bezzera Importer/Distributor in Oz.
Someone there will be able to assist you I'm sure...

Yes, I have done this a few times. As Dimal said, contact Barazi directly in Brisbane. The trade-in amount may vary based on age and condition of the machine.

          Thanks guys.
I’ll touch base with the distributor.
          Thanks

            Peter,
Can I ask if the trade in was a better way to go then selling it private ?
            cheers

I don’t really know, Phil. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of selling privately, ie taking calls or answering emails, waiting for people to come and look, etc. I wanted a simple transaction.

I emailed the distributor so I’ll wait and see what I can get for it.

Please keep us up to date on this as I wasn't aware of such an arrangement. Cheers!

I traded in my non-working Bezzera BZ 02S (volumetric control died twice in 2 years!) for my new Bezzera Strega in 2014.

I had the impression that the 50% of purchase price was for a machine that was up to five years old.

I received $500 for my disappointing Bezzera BZ.

                      Thanks Joe,
Glad to hear a few people are aware of the trade-in, I thought it might be a bit of spin by the salesman at the time.
Once I hear back from the distributor I’ll post back.

Might by time for a new ECM TECHNIKA V PROFI PID

                      cheers

It was Bezzera for Bezzera as I recall.

Wouldn't be holding my breath on Bezzera helping you into another brand, just saying.....

Yes, trade-ins are only on the basis of purchasing a new Bezzera.
