silicone hose and filter should be available from Espresso Company Australia - 1300326326 - and they can freight it to you!

Just so that I am totally clear here the inside diameter of your hoses are 2mm correct? I had a VBM Junior 12 or so year ago and I don’t remember the hoses being so thin. It’s not that I am doubting what you say it just seems??? ultra narrow…

Possibly iron. Try soaking the hose in a 5% solution of oxalic acid (available from hardware shops as "Diggers Rust and Scale Remover").Originally posted by anthonypiccolo View Post

Anyone got any advice here, why is the diameter of the hoses in my machine so much smaller than what's available on CS! Is it bad to change the diameter? Could this damage the part or the way a HX machine works?

I actually think what I currently have is about 2x4 which is interesting.Originally posted by Caffeinator View Post
Measure the inside and outside diameter of the silicon and there's your solution. CP should be able to assist.
It's probably 4x7 or 5x8 I'd think.
The overall diameter appears to be around 0.4cm.
Hmm, not sure what to do. I guess I'd prefer to replace with exactly what came with the machine. Any thoughts?

Does anyone know where I can buy another filter like the one on the end of one of the hoses in the photo above?

What about the length? The ones on CP all seem to be 1 metre long! Also, what about the filter at the end of the tubing? Haven't been able to source a replacement for that.Originally posted by Caffeinator View Post

Replacing hoses on VBM Domobar Junior
I've had my machine for over 10 years, last year I completely serviced the grouphead and the machine is functioning great. Making really nice coffee with my Niche Zero grinder.
I clean out the water tank regularly, however, I want to address the hoses/tubing from the water tank. It almost seems like here is some mould inside of them. I haven't replaced these since we bought the machine.
Not sure what the funky yellow stuff is. But they've gotta go!
Any ideas what to buy? I've heard length is massively important for heat exchange machines. I clearly can't get the OEM hoses and filter. Anyone know where I can buy from? Looks like Coffee Parts have stuff but once again, no idea what to buy.
