Hi all.
First time caller, long time listener.
I'm a massive coffee nerd in Brisbane, formally Sydney. My daily driver is a Breville Dual Boiler and DF64 grinder.
I picked up a non-functioning Bezzera BZ99s - the heating element.
It was quite heavily scaled so I decided to do a full strip refurb.
She's looking good and all back together, with only the bits that were unplugged when I got it.
I'm trying to figure out where these cables go. Any assistance would be helpful. Here's what I think.
Here's what I've learnt:
Since I simply don't have enough cables, am I to assume I don't need the contact thermostat?
OR Does the contact thermostat have its own harness? For examample, blue from machine to thermostat, thermostat to heater.
I've found limited information pertaining to this, except one image of the contact thermostat wiring which doesn't fully explain things.
Any help would be appreciated!

- The pair with the R on it, go to the water tank for water level.
- The blue and black go each side of the heating element.
- One on the earth's in series goes to the case, the other earth in series goes to the heating element body.
- This leaves one earth that was connected to the chassis. Where does this go?
Here's what I've learnt:
- this chassis is used for different machines, so mounting points aren't all used (left side).
- There are two versions of heating element: one with, and without a contact thermostat.
Since I simply don't have enough cables, am I to assume I don't need the contact thermostat?
