Gary what temperature are you pouring and what depth of roast are the beans, always interested in what is working well. Thanks.Originally posted by GARYCAMP View PostI also got flow control on my big Mechanika iv and decided to remove the E61 group gauge and install a thermometer and now i can see whats going on with the temps.
I can get better and tasty shots now with a constant temperature for every shot. Still using the flow control as usual but focus on temps.
Any of you installed a thermometer guage into the group head.

I have a thermometer on my ECM Mechanika V Slim. It is a great, I pull a precise cooling shot at hit the perfect temp zone to pull shots. I run the brew pressure to 4 bar and let the puck preinfuse then pull the shot, letting it run out with the lever in the intermediate position. Works very well.
