Ok, I just ordered the Izzo Vivi from one of the sponsors.

    May the brewing journey begin

Many thanks to everyone for all your great advise!

I assume you've had the Vivi for a few months now Donttalk2meb4my1coffee, any reports and assessment on it? Also did you get a grinder to go with in the end?

Am considering one myself, seems like a great 'bang for buck' machine that's maybe a step or two above the low-mid $2000 mark competition.

Yes, I have been using the Vivi for some time now and I love it! As this is my first proper machine, it also made a huge difference that I took a Barrista course to learn the basics (much better than YouTube).

The only annoying thing is that the grill on the splash box (not sure that’s the right term) is flimsy, looks cheap and is hard to remove when cleaning (and hence scratches the polished steel). It’s also annoying to refill the water tank daily (although I believe the Vivi already has a bigger tank than others).

I am also still using my Breville grinder, but not sure for how much longer :-D
