I have a Giotto premium plus circa 2008 (V2?)
I have had it from new, and has served me well, with only the water probe and pressurestat needing replacement.
It has been regularly descaled, and has been run on filtered rainwater for the last 2 years.
The water probe has been cleaned.
There is now an issue on startup.
Everything is fine until the pressure starts to build.
At that point, I can observe the water level in the reservoir rising, which in turn leads to the pump kicking in to restore the water level in the boiler.
If I leave it switched on, the cycle shortens as the pressure rises. It finally gets to pressure, but the pump is cycling on every few seconds, and strange gurgling noises emanate.
I know it is probably a job for an expert, but my nearest service centre is 5 hours away, so any assistance will be gratefully received.
Update: The machine cooled down, and the water level in the reservoir rose significantly - the boiler must have drained, as the pump runs for about a minute when I turned it back on.
