Hello all! I confess I'm a tourist "visiting" from the UK. Unfortunately on my local forum no-one has been able to help, so thought I'd post here given it's an Australian brand and others may have more experience!
Quick summary - had some strange noises and brew boiler temperature rocketing. Inspecting inside there was condensation everywhere, caused by a leak from one of the steam boiler probes. I changed a whole bunch of o-rings across the steam and brew boilers, two or three of which were totally worn. Predictably lost one of the spring clips, but have stuck a couple of pins/sewing needles in there that seem to do the job!
For what it's worth, the machine received a service about 15 months ago (the seller gave me the receipt) - new pump and solenoid.
In any event, everything seems to be working fine, no leaks, no strange noises. Stable temp, steam fine. BUT, after the machine has been on for 30 or so minutes, the top becomes too hot to touch, so something is clearly still wrong. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions of what might be causing this?
Thank you in advance!
