    G'day Peter...

If it tripped the Safety Switch, then you probably have either a dodgy heating element or 3-way valve solenoid coil or boiler fill coil.
Re: the indicator lamp indications, I'm not familiar with the arrangement of your particular machine and what that light pattern means.
You could perhaps, have a safety thermostat affixed to the boiler which has tripped and needs resetting?

Hopefully, someone with knowledge and experience with your machine will be along soon to help out with that. I would advise contacting an electrician to test the integrity of the element and the solenoid coils.

    All the best,
    Mal.

    Thanks for your reply Mal.

The safety switch tripped and the circuit breaker for that area also tripped. Does that make a difference?

    Peter.

Did it trip the circuit-breaker on overload or was it the Safety-Switch that tripped?

Expobar office control. No action when turned on

My ageing Expobar Office Control had a problem during use. Poured one shot ok then triggered the meter box circuit breakers.

When the power was turned back on at the meter and then on the machine, the two red lights went on , but nothing else.

Usually the green button lights flash once and then the pump comes on the fill the boiler and then the water begins to heat.

Any ideas on where to start looking for possible causes or failures? It would be great if it was something simple.

    Thanks Peter.
