    Hi all!

Please, could anyone tell me what are the differences between Junior Extra and Splendor Unico?

Cheers to all from Spainl!  ;D
    Hi Oton,

Might I suggest that you may like to download our .pdf files form the Talk Coffee website. Hopefully they will assist...

    regards

    Hey Chris,

Just wondering how youre going with this machine (and bumping this thread up so you dont forget  8-)).

Is it all you expected? Still got it on your bench? Fallen in love,Chris?

When youve gotten your thoughts together, let us know. Thanks.  :
    Hi Greg, I havent forgotten!

They have produced a very good machine with excellent usability. Anecdotally, no real cooling flush is required- only a rinse. Milk texture is great through a ball-jointed 2 hole tip and the machine recovers well.

The tank is unusual- clear perspex with grab tabs. I havent seen one like this before and though there is no problem with it, I suspect that there would be heartbreak if it was dropped. Inside, as per all of Attilios Diadema stock, a water softening cartridge.

I am waiting on software for my fluke so I can run it through some shots to get an idea of what the profile looks like.

Would I have it on my bench? Absolutely. It is a viable competitor to Giotto, Galatea and similar spec machines.

    eeeeekkkkkkk!

You said look at their "private parts" Chris hehehe.

Youll love em...or will that be, theyll love you for looking at their private bits???????????? Oops!

Oh, Stan mentioned something about reliability. Well for the record, this manufacturer just solved a problem with one of the "private bits" that affected ALL manufacturers models that used the same part, which is literally everyone irrespective of brand. ALL of this new consignment , landed in the warehouse last Friday, is already fitted with "the fix", and all my imports are built to my signature specifications on the production line (which is why you get a bypass at 9 bars or thereabouts straight out of the box)!....boy that was a long sentence.

There is plenty of stock for Christmas.

    A.

I have this one on my bench at home and initial impressions are superb build and performance.

It was set to 9 bar out of the box and seems very thermostable with minimal/no cooling shot.

The ball-joint wands are terrific and milk texture is Giotto good...This machine is a true Giotto competitor IMHO..

Ill get the scace to it in the next day or so and report back.

RRP is $2850 with discounts for CSers

Look forward to your report(s), Chris (you lucky bugger!).

BTW, if you decide you dont like them and just want to give them away....nah  :-/ , no chance of that with these machines. (Oh well, keep saving, Greg.)

I know our sponsors are reliable having purchased from a couple of them already but  it costs a lot to send things back from up here if they are subject to problems.  As noticed about another top machine from the threads they are not without issues, so it is better to ask the sponsor that be surprised in the future.  ( I am cautious by nature  8-) )
    Hi Stan,

I have an evaluation pallet today per favour of Attilio...

    I got sent:[*]1 x sexy new entry level "Machinox" grinder[*]1 x Diadema Perfetta- dual purpose Zaffiro/Vashetta competitor[*]1 x Diadema Regal (2L version)...pix to come[*]1 x Diadema Junior Extra

...and all for being a nice bloke

They will individually be on my bench at home a few days at a time and will be given a thorough drilling scace and fluke thermologger style and then Ill open them up to have a gander at their private bits as well...

Its shot central at the 2mcm abode  8-)

    What are the dimensions?
Do they have a similar footprint to the Giotto?

Temperature Stability - Do they need pimping or just fine out of the box?

As I am far away from a Service Center - what is their reliability record?  (Postage to and from a service center would break me) :-/.

Responding to an earlier post- the wands ARE ball-jointed on this machine, and the new Diadema Regal (pix to come) as well as on the Diadema Perfetta.
