I have the auto-fill version, but have removed the cut-out switch and flap to allow access to the shute for cleaning.
It is an easy job to remove the cut-out switch, but you do then need to bridge the contacts to the switch in the base of the unit ... if you bridge correctly, the 3-position switch will function as follows:
position 0 = off
position 1 = on / run
position 2 = momentary "start" switch......ie turn switch from position 0 to 1 (nothing happens), then turn switch to 2 , motor will start and switch returns to position 1 and motor runs....when you are done grinding, turn switch to position 0 (off)
Other models may vary ...
