Id stick to just replacing the burrs ... my wife would prefer the cosmetic solution...

Humm True I really do not need more than the burrs to make it functional. The other is only cosmetic.

    You have two choices:

    * Buy a grinder you dont know the condition of other than it has new burrs or

    * Put new burrs in your grinder (assuming theres nothing wrong with it).

If theres nothing wrong with your one then keep it.
If theres something wrong with the one youre thinking about buying and you pay more than the cost of a set of new burrs, then youll be paying too much.

Re: What is this Carimali grinder La Pavoni

I have one of these and need to give it a "Birthday" after 10 years of use at home. Apart from new blades, I have not fixed anything over the time.

My options are to buy new parts or buy another second hand one I know is for sale. My dilemma is how much to offer for a working, commercially used La Pavoni that has had new blades fitted three months ago?

    morning michel

looks like coffee parts dont list the 620345 any more
    this is the correct number

the best other fit is the Gino rossi Burr 620343

you will find that the screw hole positions are slightly different, approx 1/2 -1mm off centre

sometimes you need to grind the head of the screws, if they sit to high

    Graham,

I thought that it was part 620343 or 700103. They seem to be the correct size and I didnt see that part number that you are talking about on the website. I was about to order one of these parts... now Im confused

Unless Im mistaken that says Carimali on the back - not Cimbali (actually LaCimbali)...

I was going to say that it didnt look like any LaCimbali Ive ever seen (which are made by DRM) and are all solid metal....

That one appears to have a lot of plastic :
