Hi guys
Have had my Rocky and Silvia since May 2008 and thought today he Rocky would probably well overdue for a clean. It sure was. I was amazed anything actually came out of it!
Anyhow, something strange has happened.
When I first got it, I adjusted to find the point at which the burrs would be touching (true zero) and that would be about 2 or 3 indicated on the scale on the hopper.
Now after the clean, I reassembled it all, and the burrs are now touching around 10! If I orientate the hopper so it winds back to 0 it wont tighten to the point where the burrs will touch.
Basically it seems the holes the hopper screws into are now about opposite where they should be - by this i mean if you look at this diagram, the screws are going in the holes marked by a "0" but to get the hopper aligned to 0 the screws should be in holes in the brass burr mount in non existant hole location X
X 0 X
0 X 0
Do you know what I mean?
Its all arse-about.
How on earth has this happened?
How do I fix it?
Very very confused!

the top burr carrier needs to be rotated counterclockwise just enough so when you attach the hopper the stop screw just clears its stop. In other words on assembly if you have wound the carrier to far back the stop screw will hit against the stop but the burr carrier could be a third of a rotation to coarse.
