When youre dosing on the grinder and doing the "thwack thwack" you really need to follow the lever back with your hand rather than fully extending the spring and letting go! This is a common cause for the return spring to fail.
As for replacements, you can just go to your local bunnings and pick out a suitable sized spring! It may be cheaper.
Ive been "thwacking" the doser lever of my Fiorenzato Doge 63 grinder too fiercely. :-[ I broke the return lever.
I sent an e-mail to Coffee Parts, but Pedro says they dont have any - the T80 springs being a different size.
It is 20mm in length (plus end hooks) and 5 mm in diameter.
Its not urgent, as the doser still works fine for home use (the lever just doesnt spring back as it should, so its a total manual action and a bit slower). Its also a fair bit quieter.
But I miss the "thwack thwack".
Ill try to get onto Fiorenzato (although the last time I did, there was no reply...). Otherwise, does anyone have any idea where I might get one from?
