I have been busting all day to tell someone that really understands. I have just purchased a Super Jolly and its true, it’s the grinder that makes the difference.
I have been using a DeLonghe up until now and my Simona has never allowed me to come near pulling a 25 second shot.
I pulled my first cup this morning and the Simona could just get the water through. What a shot, it was almost all crema.
I pushed back the grind just a tad and pulled the perfect 25 second cup. HEAVEN!!!! Real coffee, at home.....Halleluiah!!!
For the last year I have been tasting a whole range of beans. Lately I have been getting into some single origin Nicaraguan beans which have been the best I have tasted so far.
But when I pulled it from the SJ grind this morning I tasted things I have never tasted at home before and perhaps not even in what I thought were the best cafes here in Sydney. Flavours spilt all over my toung, what an experience.
Now I have to spend the rest of the year going back and tasting each and every single orogins with my SJ.
What a chore!!!
