Re: Cunill Coffee Grinder
Asking someone about a used grinder is just the same as asking about a used car
History and use and kilometres travelled but in the case of the grinder how many kilos has it ground
If you know nothing about cars or grinders you do the obvious thing to avoid a costly mistake.
You buy or lease/rent a new or near new model
With respect unless the history is known or you get it for less than $50 + ??? costs for unforeseen repairs
Then leave it well alone

Re: Cunill Coffee Grinder
If you dont know anything about grinders and cant test it, it can be risky.Originally posted by 7674617D627C797977150 link=1242952719/0#0 date=1242952719does anyone have a helpful opinion on buying a second hand grinder?
If you can test it and know the cost of replacement burrs you can weigh up risk.

Im looking at buying a second hand Cunil Columbia Coffee Grinder for an office of about 20 people. Does anyone have any experience with this grinder? does anyone have a helpful opinion on buying a second hand grinder?
Cheers
The grinder is about matching the requirements of the coffee and the machine / doser Vs non doser may or may not be an issue depending on the barista and or the time available etc..
As to any thing more, plenty to read on CS and as per http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1242950862/2#2
