Sound advice from FC as always. Something extra you may wish to listen for is unusual grinding sounds.
1. A decreasing skipping / skimming sound as your grinder winds down after turning it off, all beans gone. May indicate your burrs are ever so slightly touching.
2. A heartier grinding during and after the beans are being ground. You may well have rocks, Ethiopian MAO Horse an Yemin Ismali are examples. This condition is about one of the only real grinder destroyers the average CS will experience, not electrically related that is.
Cheers
Boris
