  • What do you.....

    * You have just been given "approval" to spend a "k"  8-)

    * When you have a EM6910/048 combo and intend to upgrade the 6910 later in the year (discussed on a previous thread)

    * Are dizzy from reading the forum and grinder opinions.

    * Live in Townsville where it is impossible to look at/ touch or see in action anything like what you are looking for....

    * Are comfortable with a doserless grinder (I think...)

    * Are not quite sure what the protocol is to approaching sponsors for pricing etc (which is something I intend to do).

    * It has to be stainless/chrome in appearance to suit SWMBO kitchen stuff.

    I.e. What grinder do I buy  :-/

    Apologies for the million questions.

One answer: Mazzer Mini or Macap M4/M5. Your choice.

Mazzer Mini E or Macap M4D

Both are solidly built I own the Macap and feel that it is more user friendly with its settings but hey I would still be just as comfortable to own & use the Mini E

        Its all been said above.

I preferred the Macap, and with the home-made hopper it is IMO very bling and reasonably sized.

            Yep,

You cant go wrong with either of these manufacturers Sam.... Both are highly recommended.

Hey Greg.... What is that s/s pseudo hopper you have sitting on your Macap? Definitely looks the part.... 8-)

The Mazzer Mini and Macap M4D are excellent machines. But I deliberately didnt list them as they are each $1200 - not within Samobos budget as per the OP.

He can get the MM or the M4/M5 and have enough change to pay for the delivery costs.

Wot about the compak k3t? Seems to be well regarded and the price looks good.

                      Thanks guys.

I was trying to keep under my "budget" but the M4D is mighty sexy...

I will assume that emailing sponsors for pricing via the site is the best way to approach prospective purchasing.
