Hi, Ive recently replaced my Sunbeam 5800 machine with a Diadema Junior Plus Semi.
Ive noticed of late (especially with the fresher the bean), that Ive pretty much had to ratchet down my Rocky Doser to the "Zero" grind setting to achieve a decent pour. Ive tried courser grinds, doses, and varying tamps... but the pour remains too fast, unless its wound down to zero.
However, after about a week after the roast date of the beans, things seem to return back to normal.
So, I suppose my question is... should I wait a week for the beans to "Settled down", or do I have a legitimate excuse to upgrade my trusted rocky grinder?
Thx
