Re: Adjusting the length of grinding time on the cunhill
The Cunill timer is the pits. The slightest adjustment to grind changes the dose requiring the fiddly timer to be adjusted. I tried to disable the timer but there were too many wires and I feared Id disable the motor. What did you do?

2 hits on the button is the way to go ......
BUT .... I did see somewhere a person had installed a foot switch to replace the timer .... seemed like a great idea to me

I have a Tranquilo and have it timed to do half shots and press it twice to fill up the basket.

Re: Adjusting the length of grinding time on the cunhill
Thanks Freney. I like the timing aspect of it as so much gets caught in the top half so this way I dont have to measure or weigh or anything. Ill adjust it so I have to press the button twice. Cheers for the input.

Re: Adjusting the length of grinding time on the cunhill
What model is it?
I assume you mean Cunill? Ive got a Tranquilo, and Ive removed the timing board as it didnt do the job properly. From memory the timer setting went up to a bit over half a double basket worth of grounds. Thats not a fault as such, its what its designed to do.
As I said, I removed mine cause it was a pain. I now just have the on-off switch, which is much nicer.

Adjusting the length of grinding time on the cunhill
when the timing is set to maximum, its pulling up a bit short. do i need to send it in for service? i would rather not as the service agent that sold it to me, a mere 2 years ago, takes around 2 weeks to do anything.
any suggestions/ piccies greatly appreciated.Tags: None
