Hi All
I see there are a few posts discussing the declining grind of the EM0480, and a couple of fixes - shims and the wood bearing (not sure if the wood is still the thing to do...).
My problems have come on REALLY quickly. Within a week or two, Ive gone from 8 or 9 to 7 then 5 and now even 4 is too large (or is it that its too iregular?). Im currently destroying perfectly good (and seriously expensive) beans, as I cant seem to keep up with the degredation thats occuring. The machine is about 6 months old and has had little use (about 5 to 8 cups a week through, you guessed it, a 6910).
So, Id like to know if this speed of deteriation is normal or there are more serious things going on. Thanks a lot
Andrew
