    Grinder? Whats the difference?

    Hi again peeps,

    Sunbeam EM0450 vs Rancilio Rocky

Besides being conical burr and both having multiple grind settings whats the difference going to be in terms of the end product (the coffee).

I realise that the Rocky would cost more because of material and componentry used. Though beside this why the price difference?

Ill probably only be making 10-15 coffees a week. And Im thinking of getting a Cuadra or Isomac Millennium machine.

    Grazie Mille!!

Best bet to use the search function as there are plenty of threads on each.

Also, the grinder review thread: http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1163235531

With grinders, you gets what you pays for

Re: Where to start, grinder advice

I had a cheap grinder. I bought a better machine, it couldnt cope.
I now totally agree with the "spend more on a good grinder" approach (we all learn from experience).

I went for the Eureka Mignon over the K3 Touch for doserless, because of size constraints. Id bet theyd both do the job.
