I sure this is a basic one ...
... I am relatively new to grinders.
My K3T (4 mth old) is set to a pretty fine grind and in general is great, but every so often it stops chewing beans. The burrs continue to spin, but do not chew. I have a feeling beans get caught between the blades or something like that, but cant really see the issue.
Sometimes I can clear it by backing off the setting to a really coarse grind and running some beans through until it is clear, other times I have to empty all the beans out and poke around the blades (switched off of course) and this can be a messy and time consuming operation that can take a couple of goes to work.
Just wondering -
a) Is this normal?
b) Is there something I can do to avoid it? (eg could it be because my grinding blades are blunt/misaligned)
c) If it does happen, what do you think the simplest way to deal with it is?
Thanks in advance for your knowledgae and ideas!
