Re: Modifying a Rocky Doserless to a doser??
This subject has been raised many times over the years....Originally posted by 687D7D6E626C68646F6E62070 link=1293394831/0#0 date=1293394831Festive greetings to all.
Been wondering about the possibility to put a Hopper onto my doserless Rocky. I hope this will get rid of the mess on my bench top.
Has anybody considered or done this?
Basically, it is impossible. The Doser and Doserless versions use completely different structural designs and arent intended to be swapped from one version to the other. I guess if you were determined and had access to a properly fitted out machine shop, well anything is possible but for a normal home user? Forget it mate....

Re: Modifying a Rocky Doserless to a doser??
I have a dosered grinder and like Bean Bear I use it as a catcher and fluffer/de-clumper.
I can make just as much mess with it as I used to make with my doserless Rocky, it might be worth checking one out before you go down the path of changing it and then being disappointed.

It may be easier to swap with someone who wants to go doserless. I bought the doser version and Im really happy with it.
I dont use it as a doser though, just as a coffee catcher and fluffer.
