Well then you have more adjustment than you require.
The espresso area will occur across a zone of less than 1cm between these two extremes.

Hi fellow grinders, I am the very proud owner of a compak k3t so excited after using a EM480 which didnt impress me much.
Anyhow I am still on a steep learning curve with all things coffee so I need to dial in this baby.
I just want to confirm (the instruction manual is terrible) that you need to unscrew the 3 screws in the adjusting collar and move the collar around to put it to a new setting, then steplessly adjust with the grinder going ? I hope this makes sence and if you have a compak I think it will.
I did purchase from a sponsor but it was hot and late in the day and I didnt get a very thorough demonstration.
