    Im assuming the base is super heavy so the top heaviness of the glass wouldnt matter. Im sure in my kitchen, Id break it for sure.

    Oh bloody hell. I just noticed this thread. That is a gorgeous grinder.

    I already have 5 grinders on the bench. Im sure I could fit another one on there!

    Would be a shame to actually use it though

    I reduced the size of the image for you "longmac100", it was rather large. In general, if you can keep images down to a size of 600x800 pixels itll help people who may have a limited bandwidth connection.

    Thanks for the reply. Yes a photo will describe it best. I will post it in the next couple of days. One thing I will add is that it looks great beside an E61.

    I have a Macap grinder Mod. number R8A 1992. It has a beautiful retro inspired appearance . The bean holder is glass and made to appear hand blown . Does anyone have anymore information about this model.
