Re: Rocky Spout/Chute
Looks sweet, I thought of a simple idea for removing the chute for easy cleaning, will try it on my old one first and order the new chute in the next few day.
New one looks like a simple piece instead of the old one where its 2 pieces glued.

Re: Rocky Spout/Chute
My Rocky has two rubber O-rings between the screws and the plastic - and has never shown any cracking. It is an older model.

Re: Rocky Spout/Chute
Had the same problem as you, ordered a new one (possibly the older style?) from coffeeparts and the finish was less than desirable with rough edges and what looks like weaknesses in the plastic. Hopefully this one doesnt crack though

Rocky Spout/Chute
Hi,
The spout on my Rocky has long started to crack even when it was still relatively new, I believe I also read somewhere that it was a common problem.
The plastic spout is never screwed down tightly but somehow it manages to crack around the screw holes and also where its glued together. I think it is very poor quality.
Question is should I replace it with another one and hope that the quality of the material has improved since? Was hoping to see how other Rocky owners fare with theirs.
Alternatively is there an aftermarket one someone is selling?
Ive seen the metal one that someone has fabricated and I think it looks great! Might try make one out of aluminium if all else fails.
I have attached a couple of photos to show what I mean.
