Re: Can anyone identify this Grinder?
I think youre right that its an Anfim.
The question I have now is... on an Anfim can you just wind off the top burr carrier or is there some kind of locking screw to hold it in place.
If it should just wind off then I wonder whether I need to apply force. (I wonder what that will do to the thread if it is cross threaded).

F&F - Dont know if the following may provide you with someone else to discuss your problem with as his machine appears to be somewhat older than yours. Judging solely by the colour, Ricks guess about yours being an Anfim may be spot-on:

Re: Can anyone identify this Grinder?
Hi, thanks for the reply. Where would the locking screw be located? Id love it if there was one that could be removed.Originally posted by 29323830043934353F5B0 link=1320186131/3#3 date=1320186876You sure there is no locking screw thats preventing the collar from coming off?

Re: Can anyone identify this Grinder?
looks like an Anfim to me, from the collar adjustment lock and the doser lever.
You sure there is no locking screw thats preventing the collar from coming off?

Can anyone identify this Grinder?
I recently acquired this grinder and cant find any identifying features on it except that it is a La Pavoni (possibly a rebadge?).
Does anyone recognise it?
My dilemma is that I cant fully unwind the top collar to which the top burr is attached. On my Gino Rossi it just freely unwinds. On this grinder it unwinds to a point and then gets seriously stuck (Im wondering if it is cross threaded as the collar seems to be on a slight angle).
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
