  • Gino Rossi MC electrical schematic wanted

    Hi all

Does anyone have an electrical schematic for this grinder? I had to disassemble my 4th hand Gino Rossi MC grinder to replace cracking electric cable. It worked before I took it apart, it does not work after it went back together. The hopper-full switch works and it switches on/off the relay but the motor does not start.

I did write down what connectors were where but I have definitely made a mistake. I used my disassembly notes and the diagram on the relay to create a schematic but can see that such a schematic is wrong.

I have worked out what I could put where to get power to the motor but before I try that it would be prudent of me to get a correct schematic. Or if someone has one can they take off the bottom plate and have a look, I can post what goes where on mine.

There is no model plate on the machine. There are just two capacitors, one relay (DPDT) and a black unknown box with 3 terminals.

    Its now to late for an good advice, but still here is one;

Buy a "cheap" digital camera, that cheap is not necessary
And take pictures before take things apart, be sure your colors are OK!

I do this with all my machines even if i have taken likewise machines earlier on.

I hope this will be an good advise for the next time
    Regards from the Netherlands,

Mike Id be happy to take the bottom cover off mine for you.
May I assume its just held on by the screws in the 4 feet?

Maybe if youre not too busy you could visit a poor old lonely coffee snob whod make you a coffee while youre here.

That way you could see for yourself what youre looking for.

Re: Gino Rossi MC electrical schematic wanted

        Hi all

Thanks for the advice Adriaan, I had actually taken some notes on where things were so it should have worked afterwards, but my notes were pretty basic.

Thundergod, yes I can always accept a coffee from a coffee snob :-)

Anyhow guys I have fixed it. I carefully looked at my schematic and I had one connection to the relay incorrect and as a result no power to the motor.

I have taken some pics and made a schematic for others in the future if they need one. Note: no responsibility taken for wrong schematics - Im not an elec engineer :-)
