Re: Eureka Delipro disassembly question
Ok well I nailed it, burrs came out easily once I realised that the grind adjuster is threaded rather than held on with a bolt. Cleaned it all out with bicarbonate pf soda paste, then steam cleaned everything, prayed the steam didnt get past any seals into the motor, fired it up and scented candle taste BE GONE!
Minor prblem now is that the grind adjustment is a bit hot and miss as it grinds everything from coarse to Turkish in about a 300 degree rotation, a small adjustment makes a big difference. Still searching for an extraction with the Eureka as good as my old cheap plastic Dualit grinder, hopefully tomorrow morning Ill get closer.
PS What extraction time do you good people go by for a Rancilio Silva double basket ?

Eureka Delipro disassembly question
Hi , new here
Im in the UK and Ive just scored this grinder on eBay, fantastic condition but I fear has been used to grind flavoured beans. I chucked some Grindz cleaner through plus over a kilo of beans just to flush it out. Flavoured bean taste has nearly gone but not quite. Id like to check the burrs to be sure and clean up any old residue inside. There are 4 screws on the top and 4 bolts underneath that connect to studs holding the motor to the underside of the top. Id have though that removing the 4 upper screws would release the top, revealing the burrs but no luck, it just becomes slightly looser (less than .5mm movement side to side when side is tapped) Do I need to remove the bolts on the underside too? I see a few of you here have bought/sold/own this grinder so Im hoping you may be able to help.Tags: None
